I got the vortex bowl with my infinity hookah. The first few months I ever smoked hookah I just used a standard bowl. The vortex bowl is amazing because it contains the flavor of the shisha and doesn't let it drip down the stem.
If you don't have one, what are you waiting for?!

OH WOW. i smoked with a few friends with this thing. chocolate mint :) we only went an hour before we had to get up and go, but we looked and the shisha was NOT EVEN 1/3 DONE. wow. that was the first time of many to come. now we know to make a little (actually a lot) more time for this. its just great.

This is one of our favorite hookah innovations of all time. This bowl takes the concept of the Tangiers phunnel bowl and expands on the idea, with the scalli mod built right in the center!
Now, for those who have no idea what I just wrote, let me give you the breakdown. Look at the picture above. See the big piece sticking up from the middle of the bowl? This little spire has holes drilled halfway up. When you pack your shisha, this traps the juices and flavors, extending the flavor of your smoke as well as how long it burns. Easily one of the best hookah concepts ever, as there are no additional mods or pieces to buy to make it work. A must have for the serious hookah connoisseur!!

The Vortex bowl is truly a work of art. The only problem I had, and hopefully you wont have this happen, is that one of the air holes in the clay spire in the middle was not poked through all the way during production... but I believe that was just a custom defect. Anyway it is a great bowl for party packs and should definetly be brought out all the time.

This innovative little bowl works wonders. The bowl holds precious flavor and wont leak down your stem, which then savors all of that shisha taste. My shisha smokes longer and stays moist, down to the last puff. And I am yet to have a hole plugged!

Usually after about two or three coals the shisha is burned and has no flavour left just coal, leaving a nasty taste in your mouth. This bowl is amazing you dont have to reload the bowl every 30 minutes or so

This bowl is the greatest. The shisha lasts longer (I average about an hour and a half per load), smokes easier, allows the flavor to come through much better, and makes big smoke. Since buying it, this is the only type of bowl I will use. I believe this bowl is a must have for any level of hookah smoker.

Just buy one. Use with a small wind cover and get a very even heat. Long sessions, and lots of smoke. You won't regret it. (just don't drop it. i've had three now)

I picked up one of these bowls from a local vendor. I have been very happy with it ever since. The shisha lasts considerably longer and the amount of smoke is wonderful. Plus since all your juice doesn't fall down the stem it makes clean up much much easier. You do have to scrub the nipple on the bowl a little bit more then on a regular bowl cause it gets a lil crusty at times. But it's defiantly worth your investment.

OK, I figured that smoking out of this bowl would only provide a minor convenience when it came to clean up and that all the talk about how the shisha lasts longer & tastes better was all hype that everyone just agreed upon... but I soon ate my words (while smoking some EXCELLENT longer lasting & better tasting shisha!!!) I'm glad I bought this bowl despite my hesitation. The only thing better than my Vortex bowl, is the double-headed Vortex!!
